Talks to Form Caretaker Government Nearly Completed

Ljubljana, 8 May - Top officials from the Social Democracy (SDS) and the SLS+SKD Slovene People's Party as well as Prime Minister-designate Andrej Bajuk have engaged in intensive talks to form a caretaker government after Bajuk was elected Prime Minister last Wednesday in a 46:44 vote. While many of the ministerial candidates have already been decided upon, several posts are still to be negotiated upon, but Bajuk hopes to submit a list of ministerial candidates to parliament for approval by the middle of this week, STA has learned from a source close to Bajuk.
