Macedonian Savers to Bring a Suit against Slovenia over Foreign Currency Deposits
Ljubljana, 8 May - SLOVENIA/MACEDONIA/LAWSUIT
Macedonian savers who have deposited foreign currency totalling around DEM 160 million with the former Slovene bank, Ljubljanska banka (LB), are to bring charges against Slovenia at the Council of Europe over the return of the savings. The savers of a former Macedonian LB branch will have support of competent Macedonian state bodies, the Slovene business paper, Finance, writes in its Monday issue.
