Rupel and Demsar: Slovenia's Preparations for NATO Membership Rated High

Brussels, 8 May - Slovenia does not want to miss any opportunity to qualify for the next round of NATO expansion. In terms of its preparedness for membership, Slovenia places first or among the first nine NATO candidates. This was said by Slovenia's outgoing Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel in Brussels, where he attended a meeting with North Atlantic Council (NAC) officials.
