Region's Stability Depends on Serbia's Democratisation

Brdo pri Kranju, 10 May - The third-day of the international conference on NATO and the EU in SE Europe in the 21st Century, held at Brdo pri Kranju, some 30 km northwest of Ljubljana, opened with discussions on international policy for SE Europe in the new millennium and on Bosnia's experience. Former Ambassador to Slovenia and Bosnia Victor Jackovich, Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and Reader at the King's College Department of War Studies James Gow agreed that the stabilisation of the entire region required Serbia's democratisation.
