FDA Approves Sale of Lek-Produced Cimetidin

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) gave the green light to Slovenia's pharmaceutical company Lek for selling its generic drug cimetidin on the U.S. market. Lek will now be able to sell the drug, which is used to treat stomach problems, as a prescription and a OTC drug.
