Government Chooses Investor for Spa and Adopts Programme to Harmonise State Subsidies

Ljubljana, 11 May - GOVERNMENT/SESSION
The outgoing government chose on Thursday an investor for a medical and rehabilitation centre at Rimske Spa, some 70 km east of Ljubljana. As the best bidder, the company Barsos-MC from Ljubljana will rent the centre for 50 years free of charge, invest DEM 43 million in it within the next three years and employ 215 persons. The company has been tasked to produce a detailed plan of the investment and a bank guarantee totalling SIT 100 million (DEM one million).
