Pension Corporations' Capital to Refresh Capital Market

At the end of 1999 Slovenia passed the law on disability and pension insurance, which set the frameworks for new services, including the formation of pension mutual trusts, which is called a second pension pillar. The formation of Slovene pension funds and the problems and challenges from the aspect of managing portfolios was discussed at the finance and stock market conference in Portoroz on Friday by Alenka Znidarsic Kranjc, director of the first pension corporation DEJ 3, and Miran Vicic of the bank Nova ljubljanska banka.
