Three New Slovene Bishops Named

Pope John Paul II named three new Slovene bishops on Saturday. Andrej Glavan was named auxiliary bishop in Ljubljana, Anton Stres became auxiliary bishop in Maribor and Jurij Bizjak auxiliary bishop in Koper. The news was announced by Archbishop of Ljubljana and Slovene Metropolitan Franc Rode.
