Brussels Not Competent to Intervene in Property Restitution

Brussels, 15 May - The European Commission is well aware that restitution of property in Slovenia is proceeding at a very slow pace. While it is monitoring the process, the commission has no competence under the EU treaty to intervene directly in the issue.
