Rupel Proposes Foreign Policy Discussion in a Letter to Parliamentary Speaker

Outgoing Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel proposed in a letter to Speaker of the Slovene Parliament Janez Podobnik that a discussion on the priorities in the Slovene foreign policy take place on a suitable occasion either within the parliamentary committee for international relations or during a parliamentary session. In Rupel's opinion such a discussion is necessary irrespective of the current situation in the government and irrespective of the possibility that he will in short be replaced by a new minister. In this case, the discussion would be particularly welcome, Rupel wrote.
