President Kucan Meets European Commission President

Strasbourg, 16 May - President of the European Commission Romano Prodi confirmed that Slovenia was a strong candidate for EU membership and was confident that the country would retain the pace of preparations, Slovene President Milan Kucan said after meeting Prodi in Strasbourg late on Tuesday.
