Manifesta 3 Is Covered, Culture Minister Says

The European biennial of contemporary art Manifesta 3 is covered as far as resources are concerned, outgoing Culture Minister Jozef Skolc said on Wednesday. The joint project of the ministry of Culture and the city of Ljubljana will be financed by means of public funds, as well as funds provided by local communities and companies. The overall costs of the project are now estimated at SIT 160 million (788,000 euros), up from initial SIT 149.5 million. The ministry will provide about 40 percent and the city about 20 percent of the costs. The main sponsor is mobile telecommunications provider Mobitel.
