Brown Bear from Slovenia Transported to Italy
Ljubljana, 18 May - AMIMALS/BEAR/ITALY
A five-year she-bear was caught in the region of Kocevski Rog, southeastern Slovenia, on Wednesday evening and then transported in a special vehicle to Italy, where it will find a new home in the park Naturalle Adamello Brenta. The bear weighs 100 kilos and was named Danica, the Slovene Institute for Forests reported on Thursday.
