Outgoing Gov't Endorses Financial Plan of the Motorway Comnpany

The outgoing government on Thursday endorsed the 2000 financial plan of the Company for Motorways in Slovenia (DARS) which envisages resources of SIT 84.5 billion (416 million euros) for the implementation of the motorway programme in this year. SIT 29.6 billion will be raised by budgetary revenues from sale tax on petrol and diesel (petrol tolar), SIT 17.5 billion from motorway tolls, while about SIT 37 billion is expected to be covered by domestic and foreign loans.
