Slovenia Finishes Fed Cup With Victory

The Slovene women's tennis team concluded its attendance in the first Euro-African group of the Federation Cup with an easy victory against Morocco. The tie against Morocco held no weight due to the loss against Belorussia in the previous round. Thus the Slovene coach Igor Kosak gave an opportunity to back-up players. Maja Matevzic defeated Habiba Israkh 6:2 and 6:1, while Tina Hergold defeated Haddad Meryen 7:5. The doubles match was not played since Slovenia had already secured the tie.
