Helsinki Monitor Founds Parents' Forum for Children's Rights in Schools
Ljubljana, 22 May - HELSINKI/MONITOR/FORUM
Because of an increasing number of parents' complaints about the violation of children's rights in schools that have been allegedly voiced recently, a parents' forum for children's rights has been established within the human rights association the Helsinki Monitor. Thus parents are expected to contribute to democratisation of the educational system and become equal partners to educational institutions at all levels, said Neva Miklavcic-Predan of the Helsinki Monitor.
