Delo Comments on a New Referendum on the Majority Election System

Ljubljana, 23 May - PRESS/ELECTIONS/MAJORITY/SYSTEM
There is no doubt that a renewed decision on the election system would take away a huge cliff which has come between the supporters of the proportional system and the majority system. If not before, parliament will have to weigh the two values by autumn elections. On one side there will be the decision of the Constitutional Court (for the implementation of a majority system) and on the other side the constitutional order of regular elections.
