Unemployment Rate Falls in 1999

As many as 63,455 persons took part in various programmes of active employment policy in 1999, 50,860 of which were unemployed persons. Public works are very important within the programmes of active employment policy, director of the National Employment Office Joze Glazer said at a news conference on Tuesday.
