Ljubljana Mayoress Meets Russian Patriarch

Mayoress of Ljubljana Vika Potocnik on Tuesday met with Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Alexy II at the end of her three-day visit to Moscow. The importance of friendly relations and good co-operation among nations was stressed at the meeting. Patriarch Alexy II in particular pointed out the importance of restoration of religion in Russia's daily life, as this area was in his opinion neglected too long. The short visit with Patriarch Alexy II concluded Potocnik's visit to Moscow.
