Slovenia Welcomes Croatia's Entry into PfP Programme

Slovenia's outgoing Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel welcomed Croatia's entry into the Partnership for Peace programme in his Thursday's address to the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council, which has convened in the Italian city of Florence. Rupel stressed that "effective use of EAPC/PfP in conflict prevention and crisis management is an important contribution to overall endeavours to secure the lasting peace and stability in the entire Euro-Atlantic area and especially in the region southeast of Slovene borders".
