Lawsuit against Electoral Commission's Decision Justified, Say Plaintiffs

The decision taken by the parliamentary electoral commission without legal basis and evidently in contradiction to the rules of procedure is legally contestable, therefore the lawsuit filed by ministerial candidates proposed by Prime Minister-Designate Andrej Bajuk is justified, the Social Democrats (SDS) wrote in a press release on Thursday. The SDS maintained that the list of proposed ministers was elected in Tuesday's original vote in parliament. Bajuk's spokesman Valentin Hajdinjak said in a statement on Thursday that the lawsuit should clear up the results of Tuesday's vote and make sure that the matter is legally correct.
