Foreign Affairs Body Authorises Gov't to Supplement Negotiating Position
Ljubljana, 25 May - FOREIGN/AFFAIRS/EU
The parliamentary committee for international relations (OMO) authorised the government to supplement, without the need of OMO approval, the negotiating positions for negotiations with the EU if the supplements do not alter the requirements for transitional periods or exceptions. As was explained by outgoing European Affairs Minister Igor Bavcar at the session, this step is in the interest of keeping up the pace in Slovene negotiation with the EU.
