Ljubljana Summer Festival: 60 Events, 3,000 Artists from 24 Countries

Ljubljana, 29 May - Ljubljana will be the host to the 48th international summer festival between 5 July and 26 August, during which 60 events will take place at ten different venues. Featuring around 3,000 artists from 24 countries, the festival will open with Elgar's oratorio The Dream of Gerontius at the arts centre Cankarjev dom, and wind up with Strauss's Die Fledermaus (The Bat) at the open-air venue of Krizanke on 26 August.
