U.S. Senators Visit Army Barracks at Vrhnika
Ljubljana, 31 May - A delegation of U.S. Senators, which is visiting Slovenia at the invitation of Speaker of Slovene Parliament, on Wednesday paid a visit to the military barracks at Vrhnika, 20 km west of Ljubljana. Senators Charles Grasseley, Michael Enzi and George Voinovich inspected the commander's office of the military air force and air defence of the Slovene armed forces. Later in the day the U.S. officials examined another air force base at Brnik, some 25 km northwest of Ljubljana, the Slovene Defence Ministry reported.
