Trade Unions to Stage Protest on 14 June

Ljubljana, 31 May - The trade unios will stage a joint protest on Wednesday, 14 June, because the employers oppose the trade unions' demans to level the basic wage with minimal wage, president of the free trade unions Dusan Semolic told STA after Wednesday's negotiations between the social partners on changing the wage policy agreement. The trade union of metal workers, on the other hand, proposed that the negotiations on the collective agreement in the sector should continue along with preparations for a general strike in companies of the metal industry.
