Mass Celebrated to Remember Slovene Missionary

Novo Mesto, 2 July - A mass was offered on Sunday to honour the memory of a Slovene missionary and a linguist who dedicated his life to the preservation of Indian tribes in North America and their cultures. Friderik Irenej Baraga (1797-1868) was also called the Indians' apostle.
