Leading Theoretician of Post-Modernism F. Jameson at "Borderline Syndrome" Conference in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 7 July - A two-day international conference of world theoreticians which began on Friday in Ljubljana is to give some answers to contemporary art issues. The conference at which Frederic Jameson, a leading theoretician of post-modernism, will deliver a paper on Friday afternoon is taking place on the fringe of Manifest a 3, this year's largest biennial of contemporary art in Europe, whose leitmotov is "the borderline syndrome". Art critics, artists and psychoanalysts from Great Britain, the US, France, Austria Israel and Slovenia will attempt to highlight borders in art from the aspects of art criticism, philosophy and psychoanalysis.
