Kucan, Mesic and Havel Pass a Declaration on Montenegro
Dubrovnik, 11 July - Slovenia's President Milan Kucan and his Croatian and Czech counterparts Stipe Mesic and Vaclav Havel passed a joint declaration after Tuesday's meeting with Montenegro's President Milo Djukanovic, in which they voiced their concern over the latest developments in Yugoslavia, especially the constitutional changes adopted by the Yugoslav parliament. These changes jeopardise democracy, undermine equality among the subjects in the federation and represent an arrogant denial of internationally recognised principles, the three presidents pointed out.
