OMO Calls on Gov't to Persist with Denationalisation Standpoint
Ljubljana, 11 July - During its session on Tuesday the parliamentary committe for international relations (OMO) called on the Slovene government to persist with the standpoint that the issue of denationalisation, especially non-discrimination as part of denationalisation, is not part of the acquis and is not discussed in negotiating documents. The committee welcomed the success of the negotiating group with the EU which established that denationalisation with the value of non-discrimination is not an issue of negotiations. OMO was also acquainted with the report on Slovene progress toward EU accession and warned the government of some inaccuracies in the report.
