President Kucan Continues Working Visit to Rome
Rome, 14 July - Slovene President Milan Kucan met with Italian Prime Minister Giuliano Amato on Friday afternoon as part of his working visit to Rome. The meeting was attended also by Slovene Foreign Minister Lojze Peterle, State Secretary for Slovenes living abroad Zorko Pelikan, representative of the Italian minority in the Slovene parliament Roberto Battelli and Slovene Ambassador to Italy Peter Bekes. The meeting centred on EU enlargement and the situation in the Balkans, in particular in Montenegro.
