Foreign Direct Investments in Slovenia Total 2.676 Billion Euros in 1999

Foreign direct investments in Slovenia totalled 2.676 billion euros at the end of 1999, which was new highest level expressed in euros so far. The volume of foreign direct investments expressed in U.S. dollars shows a reduction compared to the year before, which is entirely a reflection of the exchange rate of U.S. dollar rather than an illustration of the actual state, the Bank of Slovenia reported on Friday.
