Prime Minister Gives Interview for National Television: Government for Rapid Adjustment to EU Standards (I, embargo)

The Slovene government will use the time it has until this autumn, when the EU is to issue a report on Slovenia's progress towards EU membership, to adjust as many pieces of legislation as possible to EU standards. This is its key priority, said Prime Minister Andrej Bajuk in an interview for Television Slovenia. Monday's one-hour interview for the national TV station is one of Bajuk's first extensive interviews for the Slovene media after he assumed office.
