Government Passes Legislation on the Central Bank

Ljubljana, 27 July - At its session on Thursday the government passed legislation on Slovenia's central bank, the Bank of Slovenia. Following the session, Finance Minister Zvonko Ivanusic expressed that the legislation is harmonised with the acquis and allows the central bank to be more functional, as well as to hold more independence in the personnel and financial fields.
