Delo Comments on the Situation in Poland on the 20th Anniversary of Solidarity

Ljubljana, 1 September - The celebration of the 20th anniversary of Solidarity has been used as an element of the election campaign. The spotlight was on the leaders of the ruling coalition bloc of the Solidarity Election Action (AWS), while Lech Walesa managed to take part only thanks to his international reputation. Not even in those festive moments did Walesa keep his critical attitude towards the ruling coalition secret, a Slovene daily writes in Friday's issue.
