Vecer Criticises Slovene Practice to Recruit Diplomats among Party Officials
Maribor, 1 September - Ten years ago the architects of of the Slovene diplomatic apparatus claimed that Slovenia's network of embassies would be cheaper than Yugoslavia's had been for Slovenia. That proved untrue: Slovenia gives out for its diplomacy more than it did in the former common state. If the promise were to come true, economising should be applied, Vecer states in Friday's issue on the 10th anniversary of the Slovene diplomacy.
