OMO: AVNOJ Decisions Cannot be Discussed With Austria
Ljubljana, 5 September - Parliamentary committee for international relations (OMO) has unanimously adopted a decision stating that AVNOJ decisions represent a legal basis for the statehood of the post-World War II Yugoslavia and a federal status of Slovenia in it. They are, as well as the Austrian State Treaty, an integral part of the post-World War II order in Europe, OMO members stressed at the session on Tuesday. The importance of the Badinter arbitration committee's opinion, namely that the legal succession of Slovene statehood is undisputed in the international community, was also pointed out.
