Minister for Environment to Join the CEMAT Conference in Hanover
Ljubljana, 6 September - Slovene Minister for Environment Andrej Umek will participate in a two-day conference of European Ministers for Environment, CEMAT, to be launched in Hanover on Thursday. Participants will discuss issues of bringing physical planning in Europe in line with policy and expert emphasis in individual specific areas. Ministers will also adopt leading principles for sustainable development of physical planning in Europe. A country to be holding the presidency over the CEMAT conference during the next three-year period will also be selected, the Ministry for Environment and Physical Planning reported.
