Carinthian Slovenes to Ask Haider for Discussion on Minority Schooling

A week prior to the beginning of a new school year, acting headmasters without appropriate qualifications, namely the knowledge of Slovene, have been appointed at some bilingual schools in the Austrian province of Carinthia. This occurrance has already provoked a reaction from President of the National Council of Carinthian Slovenes (NSKS) Bernard Sadovnik, who protested against these appointments in the media yesterday.
