Government Discusses Budget Bill for 2001

Ljubljana, 7 September - The government on Thursday discussed the guidelines for a draft budget bill for 2001 and 2002, agreeing that the budget deficit should not exceed 0.98 percent of the GDP in 2001. In 2002, the budget deficit should stay below 0.8 percent of the GDP, was said at the government session.
