Foreign Minister Discusses Non-discriminatory Denationalisation with EU and U.S. Ambassadors
Ljubljana, 8 September - Slovene Foreign Minister Lojze Peterle on Friday met with ambassadors to Slovenia from EU member countries and the U.S., briefing them on non-discriminatory denationalisation at their wish, Peterle said in an interview for the national radio on Friday. Peterle said that he told the ambassadors that an officially unchanged policy continues in regards to Austria, so that there is no conditioning of Slovenia's accession to the EU with bilateral issues betwen the countries. Peterle believes that this had been confirmed at Thursday's meeting between Slovene President Milan Kucan and his Austrian counterpart Thomas Klestil in New York.
