Slovenia Launches Its Promotion Activities at Sydney Olympics

Sydney, 10 September - The Slovene House located in the very centre of Sydney will be opened today in a bid to promote Slovenia during the Olympics. The House, located at 99 York Street, has a huge flag fluttering outside the building as well as a number of other insignia which draw passers-by attention to Slovenia's curiosities. The projects has been conceptualised by the Slovene National Tourist Organisation in collaboration with nine partners promoting Slovenia's sports, economy, culture and tourism. Wednesday will see the launch of a series of events which will take place at the Slovene House, including press conferences and receptions.
