Abolition of AVNOJ Decisions Shall Not Be Discussed, Agree Parliamentary Parties
Ljubljana, 11 September - Presidents of parliamentary parties on Monday evening in the absence of the Social Democrats (SDS) supported decisions taken by parliamentary foreign relations committee (OMO) in regards to the AVNOJ decisions and relations with Austria. Borut Pahor, president of the United List of Social Democrats and the initiator of the meeting, explained that an agreement was reached to support the decisions taken by the parliamentary committe last Tuesday, in particular the part saying that Slovenia should not discuss the abolition of the AVNOJ decisions with Austria and that issues regarding Slovenia's foreign policy shall not be abused in the pre-election campaign for national interests.
