Port of Koper Transships by 25 Percent More Cargo in August than Last Year
Koper, 13 September - The Port of Koper transshipped 763,804 tonnes of cargo in August, which is a 25-percent increase compared to the same period last year and exceeded the company's plans by 7.2 percent. Almost 6.4 million tonnes of goods were transshipped in the first eight months of 2000, which is a rise of 11 percent compared to the same period in 1999, and exceeded the plans by 12.2 percent.
