Slovene Poet Receives "Bosanski stecak" Award

Ljubljana, 14 September - One of Slovenia's leading poets Boris A. Novak is a recipient of this year's award for literature "Bosanski stecak" bestowed by the Bosnian Writers' Association. A reception upon this occasion was organised by Slovene Ambassador to Bosnia Drago Mirosic, and was attended by a number of writers from Bosnia and some other countries. An important contribution of Boris A. Novak, who initiated a number of activities aimed at supporting writers in Sarajevo in the frame of international writers' organisation PEN, was pointed out by Mirosic at the reception.
