Annan to Do All in His Power to Solve former Yugoslav Succession Issue

New York, 14 September - The foreign ministers of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Macedonia held talks with UN Secretary General Kofi Annan about the need to settle the issue of succession of the former Yugoslavia to the UN. Lojze Peterle, Tonino Picula, Jadranko Prlic and Aleksandar Dimitrov met with Annan at the UN headquarters. The UN state secretary pledged to do all in his power for a prompt solution of this issue.
