Brussels Releases First Report on Fiscal Policies of EU Candidates

Among the most ambitious projects undertaken by Slovenia in its fiscal policy was the introduction of the value added taxation system, the European Commission stated in its first report on the fiscal policies of the EU candidate countries which was released on Friday. The general assessment passed down by the EU is that all candidate countries made significant progress in the field of fiscal policy.
