Slovenia Will Increase Its Contributions to the UN, Says Peterle

New York, 16 September - Slovene Foreign Minster announced in his speech before the 55th UN General Assembly that Slovenia is prepared to increase its contributions to the UN, to strengthen this world organisation, an indispensable basis of peaceful, progressive and just world.
Minister Peterle said that Slovenia would increase its contributions for peace-keeping operations and announced greater participation of Slovenia in peace-keeping operations, not only with soldiers but also civil police and humanitarian personnel.
