Government Continues to Negotiate with Bus and Lorry Drivers
Ljubljana, 16 September - After four-hour long negotiations between bus and lory drivers on the one hand and the government officials on the other, no solution has been reached on Saturday to the drivers' demands, which include a 50-percent reduction of excise duty on diesel oil for all professional drivers. The government, which has been negotiating since Friday, already on Thursday drew up guidelines for talks with bus and lorry drivers in a bid to avoid road blockages scheduled for next week.
