Natasa Kejzar Sets National Record and Goes to the Semi-Finals

Sydney, 17 September - Slovene swimmer Natasa Kejzar set a national record in her 100m breast-stroke discipline by swimming 1:10,44 and qualified in the semi-finals. The 24-year old student of computer science finished with the 15th time overall and thus achieved best result of Slovene female swimmers ever to perform at the Olympics. The previous best result was held by her sister Alenka who was nineteenth at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games in 200m mixed style.
