Natasa Kejzar Fails to Qualify to the Finals

Sydney, 17 September - Slovene swimmer Natasa Kejzar was eighth in her semi-finals' group and thus failed to progress to the finals. The 24-year old student of computer science finished 16th overall with 1:10.66 and achieved best placing of Slovene female swimmers ever to perform at the Olympics. The previous best placing was held by her sister Alenka who was nineteenth at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games in 200m mixed.
